Roofing in Omaha: Find Out What Your Roof Needs Before You Spend Anything
Most homeowners do not call a roofer because they want a roof. They call because something changed. A storm came through. A ceiling stain appeared. A neighbor got a new roof and a stranger knocked on the door.
Our job starts before any work is sold. We inspect the roof, document what is there, and explain it in language you can repeat to your spouse, your insurer, or the next contractor who shows up.

What Brings Omaha Homeowners to This Page
You can't see the roof
Almost everything that matters on a roof is invisible from the driveway. Granule loss, bruised shingles, lifted nails, and failed flashing all live above eye level.
Two contractors gave you two answers
One says repair. One says full replacement. Neither showed you photos. That is a documentation problem, not a roof problem.
You don't know if this is an insurance project
Storm damage and age-related wear are treated very differently. Knowing which one you have changes the entire conversation.
The details
Roofing, Explained
Roof inspections
An inspection is the starting point for every roofing decision we make with a homeowner. We look at the field of the roof, the penetrations, the flashing, the valleys, the ventilation, and the areas where water is most likely to get in.
You get an explanation of what we found and photos of the specific areas we are talking about. No pressure to sign anything at the inspection.
Roof repair
Repairs make sense when the damage is contained, the rest of the roof still has usable life, and a targeted fix will actually solve the problem instead of postponing it.
Roof replacement
Replacement becomes the honest recommendation when damage is widespread, when repeated repairs are no longer holding, or when the roof system has reached the end of its service life.
Storm damage
Hail and wind leave patterns. Part of the inspection is determining whether what we are looking at is storm-related or simply age and weather exposure over time. That distinction matters for how the project gets handled.
Repair vs. replacement
The decision comes down to how much of the roof is affected, the condition of the underlying materials, whether matching materials are practical, and what you want out of the home in the next several years.
Insurance vs. retail
An insurance-related project runs through your insurer's process. A retail project is one you choose to do directly. We work on both, and we explain the difference before you commit to either path.

Brad SandoRoofing
Rated 5 out of 5GoogleThe finest company of roofers I've ever worked with. Tore the roof completely off and brought up to code. Considering all the work that needed to be done; the cost was very reasonable. If you are looking for a company that is completely up front, fair and honest, I highly recommend Alfa Y Omega!

Questions
Roofing FAQs
Straight answers, no pressure. If yours isn't here, call and ask.
- Do I need to be home for the inspection?
- It helps, because the explanation is the point. If you cannot be there, we can walk you through the findings afterward.
- Will you tell me if I don't need work done?
- Yes. Some inspections end with a recommendation to monitor the roof rather than replace it.
- Do you handle both insurance and retail roofing projects?
- Yes. Both are confirmed parts of our work, and the process is different for each.
- Can you tell how old my roof is?
- An inspection can indicate general condition and wear. Exact age typically comes from your closing documents or prior permits.
